All that heaven allows Title Sequence

or this project, the animations were kept slow and subtle to suit the overall mood of the show. The colour palette was based off the characters: Cary, a middle-classed widow in blue; Ron, a simple gardener in red. Various symbols and motifs from the show were also referenced. The deer, changing of seasons, teapots and reflections, are significant within the film.
I particularly enjoyed animating the deer head turn frame by frame, giving a bit of life to a slow and gently paced animation. It was made more difficult as I had to match the overal painterly look I had gone with for the rest of the animation, taking a few back and forth texts in Photoshop.
